Life In The Prison

A month later, I got George released from the prison. Just as he was walking out of the prison, he asked the officer

Who came to visit me this time? He said looking around

Nobody is looking for you, you ate going home the officer said. George looked surprise and doubtful until he saw me at the counter, he smiled.

We didn't talk to each other when we walked out of the prison, neither did we talk to each other while I drove him to his house. It was when I dropped him off at his house that he said

Thank you, alight the car and entered his house, he did not look back.

I drove away, away from his life, back to my house, back to my life.

I heard George traveled abroad, he developed the business his father left for him there, and was able to build branches all over the country.

I started shooting movies, My first movie titled "Star girl" hit the internet and made me very popular.

I became a popular and well sought actress and also a producer.

Before the year got to an end I was already established. I had my houses all over the country, some I rented out,I had investments and was financially stable and independent.

I met Christian, who wasa multi millionaire, who was also a producer, and a successful one for that matter, he proposed to me, I asked for courtship first. It was then that I realized that my heart was locked as it was too hard for me to develop any feelings for any other man, perhaps George was still in my heart. I did not want to marry for the sake of getting married so I made up my mind to he spinster.

After my 26the grand birthday, I received an invitation from George, he was back, at first I thought it was his wedding invitation but then it was a throw back party.

On the d-day, I arrived at noon, George and I were happy to see each other. Mr and Mrs greeted me well, I was surprised as I thought they will hold grudges against me.

The party was an extravagant one. I sat at a corner enjoying the party until the celebrant was asked to give a speech.

George took the Microphone and thanked everyone for coming

He said good things about everybody and invited us to his wedding which he said was going to be in January then he said he was going to introduce his finance, I was feeling comfortable so I stood up and was walking away

Treasure I heard my name, I turned

marry me he said placing a ring before me

At first I felt sick wondering how the shy George was able to say such in public, I felt it was a trap, perhaps George wants revenge, he wants to disgrace me I said to myself

What? if you hate me so much do you have to disgrace me in public again ? I said

I love you ok, I love you Treasure, I really do..I know I messed up in the past and I don't blame you for anything I just want to marry you..please say yes

Christabel came forth say yes she urged me

I didn't know when I actually said yes

The crowd clapped and cheered us as George put a ring on my finger and kissed my hand. He then hugged me and pulled me by his side and took the microphone again

God gave us two hands to find someone to hold, one heart so we can find someone to love.

I want to tell you guys how we began...She wrote me a love letter yes she did George said and everybody shouted and laughed

I saw it as something to play with, you know it was kinda funny and interesting.

So I lead her on

Huoohhh! The people jeered

You know what? I thought I was doing her you know, that I was making fool of her but I never knew I actually I have feelings for her and....

George stop Treasure pinched him

George laughed, she..she ..she wants me to stop he laughed and the crowd laughed too

okay in summary, I want to tell you guy just one thing, one sentence

....in all things never fight love, do you know why?
