It was my first night in the new apartment the twins had given me. They had given me this beautiful place to call my own, and I was still trying to wrap my head around their generosity.
Sometimes, since I came here, I sit alone and wonder what I did in my past life to deserve Brynn and Frynn. They acted like my guardian angels, and my knights in shining armor anytime I was in trouble. From the time they found me in the sea to the time I wanted to jump off the cliff, again, to the time I was recuperating in the hospital and the attack that happened two days ago, they had been there, every step of the way, ready to help. I didn't know what it was that they saw in me, but I was grateful nonetheless.
