"We need to address the rumours ," I said, frustration etched on his face, "Mia is being unfairly targeted."
Brynn and I stood before few of our most trusted Pack members to discuss the growing rumors.
Brynn nodded in agreement with me, "I have spoken to the Elders. They are aware of the situation. But there is no telling what might happen if we just let it be."
"What did they say?" Ralm, one of my students asked.
"They want us to keep a low profile, to let the rumors die down," Brynn replied.
I scowled, "that's not enough. We need to defend Mia publicly. We need to let them know that she isn't going anywhere and that she is here to stay."
