Mia It was my first time in a club of any kind. The bass thumped in my chest like a second heartbeat, wild and untamed. Colored lights strobed across the ceiling of the club, cutting through the haze of smoke and perfume, painting the packed dance floor in flashes of crimson, violet, and gold.
