We drive two hours to the IronClaws pack, leaving Charlotte and Ameer in charge while we're gone. Two black SUVs full of warriors follow behind us in case we run into trouble there.
Melanie seems to have returned to her normal self. Shadow can even feel Nina again, so that's a big relief for both of us.
She told me all about killing Carter and Ayla assuming that she was going to take over the pack and leave mine. With the bullshit that she's filling her head with, I'm glad Mel is deciding to stay by my side and she's finally going to take her place as Luna.
