Chapter 33: Justified Lust
STELLA
The mail officer at the Academy had just left my desk, after dropping a letter that was meant for me.
My eyes narrowed in surprise and shock the moment he dropped the shiny brown envelope on my table.
“Are you sure it belongs to me sir?" I asked but as soon as I spotted my name on the back of the envelope, I realized I didn't need any other answer from him.
I opened it slowly, without knowing what to expect. My eyes found his name: Dylan Lindsey.
My breath hitched as I dropped the letter. I didn't read it yet.
Tears gathered in my eyes… not because I feared him. Not because of him.
I recalled her.
How he and Taylor had mocked me after her death.
That was the last time I'd seen any of them.
“Hello, Stella. I hope you're doing fine. I wish you all the best."
My eyes ran through the words. I didn't care what his motive was.
Dylan and I were two parallel lines that would never meet and until I got that thing I really wanted, I swore I wouldn't back down.
I meant it. I would do whatever was necessary, no matter how long it took.
I would get it. For her. Just for her.
The academy rang the bell for closing and I stormed out before any colleague could approach me. I had already ordered a ride, so I decided to take a stroll forward before my ride arrived.
I had barely taken twenty steps when Rhys arrived. I'd recognized that particular car—it was his Ferrari. One of his favorites.
“Hi, Blaze." He smiled but my facial muscles were weak.
I walked past the car, ignoring him after mouthing an ‘Hi’.
“Get in the car, Blaze." He drove, maintaining the same pace as me.
I had no strength to hold a conversation with him. Again, it dawned on me that I was tangled in a web I couldn't get out of, no matter how I tried.
And I would probably never get the revenge I wanted for Valerie because I was taking too long already.
Again, it dawned on me that—
“Get in, Blaze. Don't do this again today" He growled, his eyes glistening as he raised those green eyes to mine.
I blinked, turning my eyes away, hoping he wouldn't notice I'd cried my eyes out. Hoping he wouldn't notice my heart was slowly shattering into pieces.
Hoping he wouldn't notice I was only a broken person who managed to stitch herself back together again.
I continued walking. Even faster as he yelled from behind.
“I swear, Blaze." I heard him swear. “I'll throw you over my shoulders if I catch you" He promised, yelling on top of his voice.
We were in the streets of London. Cars, buses, double-deckers, and different people, all moved on the same road as us.
I wasn't ready to doubt him.
I just needed to be alone for a while and the worst part was that I didn’t know how to say it.
I wasn't scared but as bad as I wanted to be away from him, I also wanted him around almost every time.
I was such a mess without him, but I couldn't bring myself to fully accept that fact.
Before I could school what was happening, he’d driven his car to the front and was storming towards me.
“Go away, Rhys. I can walk to the bus stop—"
One minute, I was standing on my feet and the next, I was thrown over his shoulder like a bag of wool.
I could only throw my light punches at his back.
“You better sit your ass in here. Try leaving and I'll let the press have our names for a whole year”
I couldn't call it a threat or a promise.
I just knew Rhys was capable of everything he said. I'd grown to trust him for that.
"Be gentle with me. You can't mishandle me like that"
“Oh yes, you are. You shouldn't disobey me next time or I might have to leave your legs shaking all night" he smirked, pressing his foot against the accelerator.
A few minutes into the ride, it began to drizzle. Rhys still kept controlling the wheels, his eyes fixed on the road as a cloud of silence dominated the atmosphere.
I pulled out my latest novel to read even though we were almost close to the house. It didn't matter, I'd been reading it all day.
It was just one of the books on Valerie's list when she was alive. I'd managed to clear seventy-six books out of one hundred and fifty-two.
It was my way of not parting.
I'd flipped a few more pages when he cleared his throat. I didn't for that reason, turn my gaze towards him.
“One of your slutty books again?" He asked, turning to drive into the driveway. Now I knew he was trying to taunt me.
The automated gate opened after a few seconds of scanning and he drove in.
Finally…home!
“Mmm."I nodded, holding another page up so I could flip it.
“How do you like your men, Blaze?" For a minute, I pretended not to have heard. This novel was a series of my most loved fictional character and there was no way—
“How do you know?” This current chapter was about the female lead telling the male lead how she liked her men.
I turned to look at him, but he had the dirtiest and hottest stare ever. He stared at me like he wouldn't hesitate to take my clothes off, right at that moment.
"What in the actual hell, Rhys?” A small chuckle escaped me along the line. "You read this?” I raised the book, my lips curving into a smile.
"I asked a question, Blaze.” He murmured in a lowly tone.
I paused for a second. I wasn't thinking of anything. I went blank…..
“I like them just like…" you. I waited before I continued “Kai and Asher. I like them obsessed" I winked.
His facial expression didn't change. Like he wasn't mad. Like he wasn't fuming on the inside.
“But you forgot to mention my name, Blaze. I am the man who cannot go a whole day without you crossing my mind…” He said it with a blank face. By ‘blank’, I meant there was no sort of expression.
Just emotionless.
I could feel the spike of blood shoot through me… even as I tried to keep my calm.
Something settled in my belly. They were literal butterflies.
I didn't smile. He hadn't smiled either, during the whole conversation.
“You don't know how much you do to me, Blaze." He smiled like he loved to talk about me. Like I was such a big deal to talk about.
The whole time, I kept looking directly into his eyes.
“Wanna spend time with me on a rainy evening?" He asked and I didn't know when I nodded like a child who had been waiting to be asked a question she loved.
He hopped into the back seat and I followed.
"How about I eat you up tonight? I've craved you in the most unhealthy way ever. I beat my meat to the thought of you, Blaze” His eyes dimmed with softness.
"No.”I pressed my lips like I really meant it.
When I thought I'd seen enough, he opened the door, stepped out of the car, and knelt in the rain.
"Are you crazy?” I leaned towards the door. He was on his knees, already soaked.
“Please, Blaze."
I released air from my lungs then stepped inside the rain to drag him into the guesthouse.
“There's no way I'm letting that happen in the rain. What if we catch a cold?” I handed him the towel, minutes after we'd both changed into home clothes.
“I'll be just fine." He murmured, drying his hair with the towel I'd just handed him.
It'd caused me some explaining, the moment I handed him male clothes.
"Where did you get these clothes?” He held them up as I'd just given him a ball python to hold.
"I got them for you. They're still new.”
I walked towards my bedroom, leaving him in the living room.
Rhys without clothes was a work of art I wasn't sure I wanted to see.
"Can't stand it, huh?" He teased, following me behind.
Damn. I had no choice but to look away.
This man had a half-opened trouser, his d**k bulging and his chest fully exposed.
What if I choked on the cup of coffee in my hand?
Would he lift me in his arms and press my chest from the back, so my butt would brush his c**k and I'd orgasm?
Shit! My p***y and my hair, I didn't know which was wetter.
“Eyes on me, baby" He held my chin up.
"Let me, Blaze. I want to make you feel good tonight. That's the only way I'll sleep peacefully”
Suddenly, I no longer needed to care about my s****l life anymore because someone was now there to care.
"Leave me alone, Rhys” I pushed him off.
"See this?” He looked down at his d**k and my eyes followed.
Holy s**t. He was so big. It wasn’t my first time seeing his c**k but each time, I'd always gushed at his size.
I couldn't help but imagine him in me again with the veins, that length, that thickness.
“It craves you. Always. It wants your p***y, I want you more."
Heavenly—
“You have two choices tonight. Let me eat you out or f**k you senseless. After my fifth finger goes down, you get none”
He had counted the second finger down yet I waited.
The third. The fourth.
"Fine”
I turned, heading to the bedroom.
If this had happened in a book, I'd have laughed like crazy but I was the f*****g character of my own book… and I loved to be f****d dirty by this man.
"That's my good girl." He spanked my ass so hard that it bounced a bit.
He didn't wait before I got into the bedroom before he held my hand and positioned my back against the wall, pinning both my hands above my head.
“Did I do something?" The cloud in his eyes soon turned into something darker. Hunger. Want. Obsession.
The way he looked at me pushed a shot of dopamine through me. I liked the tension. I loved the climax of every minute around him. I loved that at this moment, my self-control had melted softly.
His weight rested slightly on me, just enough to let me feel his hardness.
“I have a b***r for you, little Blaze. Would you rather I find someone else to take me in?" He whispered in my ear. His voice cut the strings between us.
"I am dripping for you now, Rhys.” I bit my lower lip, before I raised my head to his. "Would you rather I find someone to fill me and eat me like tomorrow will never come?”
"f**k it then!” He jacked me up in his arms, lifting me to the bedroom.
