A soft smile ghosted over his lips as he searched my eyes intensely, and I bit my lower lip trying not to smile wider. Did he really just crack a joke, or was it unintentional? Either way, it was enough to snap me out of the haze of sadness that had engulfed me earlier.
"Do you mean it? Do you really not know how to..."
He nodded slowly, and my eyes widened.
"Nigel suggested that I look it up online, but all I saw was a bunch of naked, lust-addled people. They were rather rough with their women. It was disturbing, really."
Amused, I held up my hands, holding them to both sides of his face. He was truly innocent, wasn't he?
He squinted at me, those long eyelashes of his fluttering slightly.
"Why are you staring at me like that?" He asked.
"You are so cute, do you know that?"
