Chapter Nine “What’s going on?” Mark said, taking in Carmen, who was wearing sunglasses, and the flashing lights of the big tow truck that had loaded up two of the four ATVs that had been cutting through twelve acres of property, tearing up the grass of one of the newer residents of the island. Mark hated these nuisance calls. Seeing two of the ATV guys climbing into the pickup truck they’d left parked at the side of the road, he let out a heavy sigh. “Billy Jo isn’t answering me,” he said. “Left four messages on her cell phone.
