Romeo smiled at Whilem as they set up for Tristian’s birthday.
“So how many people will I be picking up off the floor tonight?” Whilem counted, “A lucky thirteen if I’m not mistaken.”
Confused since he would have expected at least a hundred Whilem was honest, “Tristian doesn’t like many people and he doesn’t just let people around him. He doesn’t need a thousand people around him and only two of them he knows. He likes to celebrate things with the people that mattered.”
Friends like family, and family that still loved him like family should, Whilem knew why it was important. “T, has had a rough start and he’s been left to feel like he should be alone when he should have to be. He’s overcome so many challenges and downsides, but he got here, and he deserves to have whatever he wants.”
