After her classes, Deanna stopped by Harry and Laura's apartment, but he was not there. She found a worried and somewhat sad Laura; so, she just dedicated herself to listening to her. She was not going to tell her how well things were going with Daniel if her friend was in that state.
Laura told her that Harry was distancing himself more and more from her, that he was still the same sweet and considerate man, but that it seemed like he only cared about the baby and his job. "How strange," Deanna thought, they were always so in love with each other. Maybe it would be an adjustment phase for Harry.
