  "Come on, Deanna!"   Deanna was more scared than excited that day. The Mother's Day Festival at school, exposing herself to those people again. But this time was different, she felt different. It was not a dance or a party, and she was not going as a chaperone. She was part of the family.   Of course, there was no shortage of discreet glances and whispers. The mothers present all belonged to the same social circle, they all belonged to wealthy families and shared the same network of gossip.   "Naomi, this is huge..."   "The school?
