Laura, (At her mother's behest), takes Sarah, Mia and, Ella, to The Room Of Enchanted Pages, a room with gemstones and geodes on the walls and shelves lined with books of genres one couldn't even name.
The Maplewood High girls were mesmerized by the vast number of books in The Room Of Enchanted Pages, and it is here where they ask why the room is named the way it is.
Laura proceeds to explain that these are not regular books. they are, as she puts it, “special”.
Curiosity piqued Ella innocently tries to read one of the books. However, before she can, Laura slaps it out of her hands and, by default, the apothecary.
However, by slapping the book out of her hands, one of Sarah, Ella and, Mia's club mates, Sage Wilder, finds the book, “The Magical Pumpkin Patch”, and reads it aloud.
Realizing she's too late to stop what's about to happen, Laura simply tells the girls to "Brace Themselves as the town of Maplewood begins to warp before their very eyes and they themselves are enveloped in magic sparkles, The world around Them alter all the way until they are dressed as pumpkin Harvesters and they are in an actual Patch.
