(MARILYN’S POV)
“Say hello to the birthday girl!” Mia said in a loud enough tone in greeting as I shyly approached the table where she sat waiting for me.
My lectures for the day had just ended and Mia and I had arranged for us both to meet and have a cold drink.
“Mia.” I said in warning as my cheeks turned red. I sat down looking around to be sure that no one heard what she was saying or that no one paid attention to us.
Mia, in her usual self, three back her head laughing in amusement.
“How are you doing?” She asked me blowing me a kiss.
