Marilyn did not know which annoyed her more, the fact that Lilliana suddenly appeared out of nowhere just at the time she wanted to talk to Louis or that Louis was giving her a nonchalant attitude.
“I’ll meet you inside.” He finally said to Lilliana who gave her displeased face to Marilyn.
“See you guys inside.” She said as she walked away.
Marilyn felt relieved. She did not have Lilliana’s angry eyes at her.
But now as she looked at Louis, his facial expression was not encouraging. He looked like someone who was prepared to scold her.
“I actually need to talk to you shout something.” Louis surprised Marilyn by saying.
“I have something to tell you. And it’s important.” She said with her eyes hoping to show the urgency. “It’s about Lilliana….”
