(MARILYN’S POV)
On the way home I could not stop replaying the horse riding scene in my head and it always ended up leaving me with a lump in my throat. Louis had left the ranch after our ride and Liam said that he had some work to do. Lilliana went with him and she threw me what I thought was a displeased look before they walked away.
It got to me. Made me feel jealous. I knew that I was the reason why Louis had left in such a hurry, it had nothing to do with him having work. I started to think that he could really dislike me.
The rest of the afternoon went by fast and on the way home I was glad Mia came along because she was the one chattering away and taking my kind of Louis Rodriguez. Before we dropped her off at home, she said to me.
