Terror gripped me viciously. My heart slammed repeatedly against my chest at the intensity of his eyes on me.
I gasped, dropping my gaze to my feet. I broke the eye-contact. It was the only way I could control my breathing.
The chattering and gasps of the students wouldn't let the Gamma Guardian speak. And it was growing every minute.
