Chapter 4-Pamper & Spoil her

LUCIFER'S P.O.V.

My heart clenches seeing her precious tears. I know how it feels to see your own siblings being hurt. Michael & I were once close when we were younger. Not to mention his kidnapping last year, it was devastating. Fortunately with Xiphrus's help we found Michael in two weeks in an abandoned warehouse. Xiphrus, was not only Michael's former bodyguard & fiance but also somewhat a kin to Hades. My younger days had its ups & downs like everyone else's. We were pretty close as a loving family ought to be until my mother died mysteriously. Michael & I had barely turned into teenagers while Uriel, the youngest was barely a year old. We all took it pretty hard especially my Dad, he began to distance himself from everything. No, he didn't become drunk or turned abusive or anything, thank god. Just became sort of turned into a ghost. My oldest brother, Gabriel had to grow up fast in order to take care of Dad's business. At the age of 20 & just graduated from college, he took over as the head. Raphael the second oldest, was a brain surgeon working in a hospital rivalling Hades's. He even offered a post for Ralph in one of his hospitals. For I had suspected that the one he worked in was one of those money grubbing type. I hate those types of establishments, but Ralph said that he has signed the contract which was binding. According to Hades my brother was trapped, yet I know that he won't be like them. Next the twins, Zach & Becca, they are both sports freaks, running a gym about the size of the Madison Square Garden. They basically take care of our diet charts, tried to do the same with Hades but he caused a ruckus. Michael was an interior designer, despite his OCD tendency he loves his job. As for Uriel he is a kindergarten teacher.

SONIA:(Sniffing)"Oh god, silly me, I don't know what made me blabber like that. Here I probably spoiled the mood...!"

I blinked momentarily confused before using my fingers to gently cup her chin, making her face me. 'Bad move, Lucifer. Crap!' Staring at her beautiful brown orbs filled with tears made my heart jerk in pleasure. Yet I try to reel my emotions a bit lower.

LUCIFER: "No need to apologize, love, in fact I feel flattered that you were able to share your troubles with me."(I smile softly seeing her slightly shocked look)"It shows how selfless you are & the love you feel for your brother. Trust me, I can understand. I believe that I can help your brother."

SONIA:(Wiping her tears)"You can but how?"

LUCIFER: "Well, I know someone who has handled many cases just like your brother is going through. He can help him recover without any hesitation & I guarantee that he can do it without compensation."

She c***s her head a bit which I find it endearing. I try to gather my wits because her cocoa-butter scent is so enticing. Also staring in her chocolate brown eyes aren't helping either, she is attractive in her own way.

LUCIFER: "I'm referring about my friend, Hades. Once he looks into your brother's case I know he can help."

At that she gasps softly as if realizing what I meant. What she does next leaves me flabbergasted because she hugs me, by wrapping her arms around my neck.

SONIA:(Gushes)"Oh, thank you, thank you, Lucifer, I shall be forever be in your debt. I shall do anything just to see my brother happy again. It would mean so much to me."

Part of me was thrilled that she has accepted while the other part of me was in a conflict. She is much too close to me. I have this sudden urge to pull her soft body against me, just bury my face in her soft hair &...!?

BRIING! BRIING!

Ugh! Sonia pulls back hastily, her skin looked flushed while I take a deep breath before answering my phone.

'HADES: "What's holding you up, asshole? I've been waiting here for the past 10 minutes. Don't tell me that you are doing 'it' in the car are ya?"

LUCIFER:(Rolling my eyes)"Of course not, we will do exactly as we had discussed, Hades. Don't worry we are on our way."

HADES:(Scoffs)"You better be since we are sharing her, tonight."'

I grimace as I steer the car towards our destination. I glance at the girl who staring out the window. I notice how fragile she seems but she has spirit. Still feeling the warmth of her body lingering on me I try to simmer down my libido. Damn, to think that Hades, being my first & last male lover could fire up my arousal so fast. Now I have to deal with Miss Sonia Dean, naturally first we had to work her 'before' claiming her. I would use the traditional way as been taught by my parents on how to court a lady. True, I've had a few shares of bedmates in my younger days, got married twice & have wonderful children. Glancing at the girl who seems lost in her own thoughts no doubt.

SONIA:(Clears her throat)"Um, Lucifer, I owe you an apology about what happened earlier."(I raise an eyebrow in question, looking at her)"I was really touched by what you proposed about helping my brother that I...!"

Chuckling softly, I place my hand on hers squeezed it softly.

LUCIFER: "No need to, love, I understand, at least it made you smile though. Besides I know that I'm irresistible, who wouldn't jump on me?"

She gapes at me wide-eyed while blushing then to my amusement she smacks my arm.

SONIA:(Pouts adorably)"God, seriously, you men?"

I cough lightly to hide my amusement as I head to our destination. I parked my car near the entrance of Hades's restaurant named 'Aurora Borealis', one of his 5 star establishments. Soon Hades goes to Sonia's side to open the door, like a gentleman he holds her hand to help her out. I hand my car keys to Aro, who was working as the parking valet for tonight. He was adopted by Cerebus & his life-partner, Blaine, when he was a baby. Our families & a few of our friends are aware of our decision though. It seems that they support us, Hades's sons Abel & Cain run this restaurant. Abel is the manager here while Cain is the head chef. I join them as we enter, I smile as Hades leans towards her to whisper something, causing her to not only blush but also giggles softly. I see my son Thorn, ushering us inside. He winks at me while mouthing, 'She is really cute, good luck.' I playfully smack his shoulder like a stern father as he childishly snickers. We were seated in our usual place by adding a third chair for Sonia. Hades helps Sonia to sit between us & placing her jacket over her chair. Even though it was a bit chilly outside while inside the restaurant was warm & bustling about. DING! Frowning as I check my phone for the message by Hades.

'HADES: "Tell that brat of yours to back of. Just because we told them about having a third doesn't mean he is all that."'

Rolling my eyes as I see him scowling besides Sonia, who fortunately didn't notice.

'LUCIFER: "Would you relax, they mean well because they care. Even Theo & Michael are on board, for now let us enjoy tonight. I love you!"'

He simply snorts as he glares at me, suddenly someone zooms by me which startles me. Then seeing Ambrosius on his roller blades came near us. I glance at Hades who simply shrugs indifferently.

AMBROSIUS: "Good evening, folks, I shall be your waiter for tonight. Shall I take your orders?"

I notice Sonia openly gaping at Ambrosius which made me laugh, this happens all the time. Because Ambrosius is the not only Hades's younger son but also resembles so much like him. Same hair, same eyes even their noses, well all of his sons do besides the eldest named Charon. He was adopted, because his parents abandoned him when he was young. His partner is Alexion, who is also a chef in another restaurant owned by Hades. His second son is Cerebus who run an establishment for training bodyguards, his partner is Blaine who is a professional florist. Zelios, his third from his first crush who died in an accident after Zelios was born. He & his partner, Noe are lawyers. Next are the twins, Abel & Cain from an affair from a married woman. Then Malachi who also resembles a lot like Hades but through a so-called r**e incident. Hades wanted to send Malachi at an orphanage but his wife, Persephone, saved him. Adrian is Malachi's partner plus a billionaire. Theodore or preferably known as Theo was from a one-night stand. He was in an abusive relationship with his mother whom we later discovered was a fraud. With the help of Sept who was a cop, not only helped in rescuing Theo but also found his real biological mother & half-sisters. Ambrosius is married to my third child Thorn, they both run an entertainment business. Lastly there is Nikias who was given birth through surrogacy. The woman wanted her identity unknown. His cousin Demetrius is his partner & a teacher. Ambrosius was blushing seeing Sonia's reaction while Hades looks on in amusement as he coughs. Sonia looks about flustered before chuckling.

SONIA: "Oh, um, sorry about that, y'know for staring like that."(Opening the menu, then hums a bit)"So I'd like beef steak with potato salad & chocolate fudge cake, please."

AMBROSIUS:(Writes on his tab)"Right away, Miss, so the usual orders for the gentlemen then?"

Hades & I nod then he takes off as he picks up the menus. While waiting for the food we started to chatter a bit. I was pleasantly surprised at how much at ease we became with each other. She was quite intelligent, she loves both art & science. Helped her brother in fixing bikes & cars, also loves to cook. Hades, I could tell was hanging on everything she was saying. I was looking about I could see a few familiar faces here & there. Then glancing at Sonia she was frowning at her phone. Then she starts tapping it while biting her bottom lip. Seeing her simple action for some reason made my little friend down there twitch a bit. Not good, I swallow hard before averting my gaze away. DING! God that made me jump.

'HADES: "Yo, Lucy, its that floozy texting Sonia, asking her about our location."

LUCIFER: "Ookay, so?"

HADES: "Whaddya mean so? She wants to join us as in double dating"'

I raise my eyebrows in surprised as Hades snatches her phone away.

HADES'S P.O.V.

Unbelievable, f**k, I was just casually glancing over Sonia's shoulder. She has been looking at her phone nervously, even during our conversation. Rude. As I look & no surprise there, it was that blonde whatshername bothering her.

'IMOGEN: "Alright, wallflower, quit playing games & just send me the location. There is no way that you shall steal my thunder. I want in on the action."😘😋

SONIA: "I'm not sure but I should ask them first..."'

Thats when I snatch her phone before she does anything. No way, no how.

SONIA: "What are you doing, Hades? Give me back my phone, please."

HADES: "Nopes, we are here to spend some quality time with 'you', Princess. Y'know getting to know each other, yadda yadda, all that jazz."

The last part was said while staring at her chocolate coloured eyes heatedly. She gapes at me, clearly flustered, as she turns to Lucifer for confirmation. Hearing no argument from her shows her consent. After coming here I noticed that she hardly had any makeup on. Just some kind of lip gloss & a bit of mascara thank god. I simply hate those floozies with caked up faces & wear such whorish clothes in the name of fashion, ugh! There were those who would try to flirt with us but once notice our relationship. Well, we've received mostly negative reactions while some gold diggers fantasize about threesomes. No thanks. But Sonia was dressed in a simple maroon coloured dress which reaches her knees. She was wearing black flat heels, means that she isn't conscious about her height. She has pearl studs in her ears, a gold necklace but no ring, meaning that she is single. She was intellectual with interest in both arts & mechanical science. During our meal she listens to both our hobbies & stuff. She would say her own piece without sounding patronising or bored. We ate our dessert in peace, mine as usual was baklava, Lucifer's was vanilla cake & Sonia's chocolate fudge cake. At the corner of my eye I see Sonia going through her purse as Ambrosius handed us the bill. I glance at Lucifer frowns then grips her hands. Seriously!
