Chapter 3-Our Date

LUCIFER'S P.O.V.

Unbelievable, I could see that Hades was upset & controlling his temper. This young girl was trying to butt in by pushing Sonia back & the girl was letting her. Why? We came for her, something about Sonia Dillon attracted me. Not because she resembles my late wife but her positive aura did. Of course that there is this age difference between us but the connection is there. I'm sure that Hades felt this too because so far he hasn't objected yet. But as this other girl appears just startled me & I didn't like it either. She looked pretty desperate by the way she was dressed, as a father of 3 daughters I completely disapprove such outfits.

IMOGEN:(Smacks her lips)"So, fellas, what do you say we go somewhere cozy & get to know each other? We could go to my place it is not far from here. Sonia, why don't you head over to your bosses place for a couple of days? So we wouldn't want to scare you away."

HADES:(Scowls)"What the f**k does she say?"

I place my hand on his chest to hold him back, even I didn't like what this little girl suggested. Looking at Sonia Dean she looked dejected, it broke my heart. By the way this going it seems as if this has happened before perhaps many times.

LUCIFER:(Clearing my throat)"As much as I appreciate the offer, Miss. But we'd like to have Sonia Dean as our companion tonight."

Sonia looks at me in shock beside me I could feel Hades relax. Then the little girl started laughing out loud, I could see some passersby looking at her oddly.

IMOGEN:(Sputtering)"This wallflower? What a joke, trust me you two are wasting your time. She is as frigid as an ice, no guy has taken her because she is so prudent."

Whoa, so our girl is innocent & pure, I glance at Hades & he is satisfied as well. As for Sonia, she looks mortified, jeez, Imogen certainly has no filter. Then she gets closer to run her fingers up my arm, eyeing us seductively.

IMOGEN:(Purring)"I can make your wild fantasies come true & who knows maybe more?"

Hades smacks her hand away towering over her & she flinches back. Thank God!

HADES: "It seems that you have a hearing problem. We want to take your friend here with us not you. Find someone else to show your fantasies or whatever."

At that Imogen narrowed her eyes as Hades & I stand near Sonia who clearly becomes flustered. I was enjoying seeing her blushing as Hades holds her hand.

IMOGEN: "Now, just wait a minute, y...you can't take her anywhere. She is not going anywhere."(I wait for her to finish her mindless babbling)"B...because she has a boyfriend & he is waiting for her."

THREE OF THEM: "She does?" "Wha...I do?" "Who!?"

IMOGEN:(Scoffing)"Of course there is & there he is. Hey, Bobby, over here, hey!"

Frowning, I turn to see this young man heading towards us with a confused look on his face.

BOBBY: "I was wondering where you took off to, kiddo, boss was looking for you. Sonia? I thought you were heading home & um, hello, Dr. Hades, didn't expect to see you here. Oh wow, Mr. Morningstar? I can't believe that you are here in the flesh. I'm your biggest fan, sir."

I chuckle at his comments, he reminds me of Nikias.

HADES: "Good to see you too, Bobby Singer. How is Delores, is she taking her medications on time? I hope!"

Honestly, one look at him no one can tell that he is a certified doctor & has opened 3 hospitals in the city. He has taken an oath to heal people as a hobby not for money or fame. Not only that but also a string of restaurants with Greek theme & Gothic touch. As for me I am an architect & also a mechanic because I love cars. Hades had come a long way to be what he is today on his own without the support of his so-called family. His younger brother named Zeus caused a lot of problems for him as a teenager. Zeus was considered as a golden boy in college & the apple of his parents eyes. He created a rumor about how Hades had been bullying him since their teens. But it was sometime later I found out that Zeus had r***d Hades. Not once but countless times & bared it for years, not letting anyone know. I was furious, I wanted to destroy him so believe me I had the power. But Hades stopped me because to him he didn't want to seem like a 'bad guy'. Because Zeus is still his brother. Ugh, I remembered we had quite an argument after that but I still hate Zeus. I see Imogen glaring at Bobby while Sonia stares at Hades in awe.

IMOGEN: (Narrows her eyes)"Hold up, how do you exactly know him, Bobby Singer?

SONIA: "Wait, so you're 'the' Dr. Cronus? Wow, Deborah couldn't stop talking about you after coming back home."

BOBBY:(Chuckles softly)"Yup, he is one of the few people who had made a pretty good impression on her. Besides you, of course, Sonia, y'know? It is pretty difficult to please her. What with being a patient of Dr. Cronus?"

I chuckle as Hades scowls playfully, I know that he enjoys being praised.

BOBBY: "Anyway, Imogen, the boss wants you inside, asap."

IMOGEN: (Looks at her fingertips)"Oh, whatever for?"

Before he could reply a shrill ringtone buzzing made us all flinch. It was Imogen's phone & she picks up while glaring at Sonia.

IMOGEN: "Now who has a death's wish, calling me in the middle of..."(Her face turns slightly pale as she listens)"Ohh hey, Sis, what's up?"

I glance at Bobby in question as he smiles sheepishly.

BOBBY:(Rubs his neck)"Actually, one of Imogen's plans backfired. Recently she has been dating two guys this month. One is a model & the other one is college student. She invited them over thinking that she can 'handle them' for her pleasure. But now they found out about each other & they are creating quite a ruckus."

I flinch as Hades elbows me to look at the particular ruckus. Sure enough, I see two young boys going at it.

SONIA: "Honestly, Imogen, I can't believe that you could do this to them. I told you that this was going to backfire. Poor Derek & Gabriel. Why are you toying with their feelings like this?"

IMOGEN:(Snaps)"Nobody asked for your stupid opinions, wallflower. What would you know about dating? Nothing, zilch."

GIRL: "I don't think the boss would appreciate your tone, Imogen. Bobby, you left your phone in your locker again & the boss wants to talk to you."

BOBBY: (Clears his throat)"Hey, what's up, boss lady, uh huh, yeah. Sonia is still here though, yeah, I can see them going at it. Uh huh, I gave your sister the message."(Looks at Imogen)"Boss, wants you to take care of 'this situation'."

IMOGEN:(Scoffing)"Why should I? Send her in instead?"(Gestures at Sonia)"Her expertise in ending this can come in handy."

GIRL: "Nice try, but they're your responsibility."

IMOGEN: "Nobody wants to hear your annoying voice, Sandra Jenkins. Bobby, control your girlfriend."

LUCIFER: "Wow, so this boy already has a girlfriend but few minutes ago you said that it was Sonia Dean."

Imogen tried to act like an innocent victim but I wasn't buying it.

BOBBY: "Seriously, Imogen, Sandy is right. Did you forget that you were grounded 2 days ago? For bunking college for 2 months?"

Then Hades's phone begins to ring, he smirks as he receives it.

HADES: "Good evening, Ms. Martin, belated congrats on the 2nd anniversary of your club. Yup, my partner is here as well, Lucifer. Actually, Ms Martin, we are here to take Sonia Dean on a date with us tonight."

I smirk seeing Sonia blushing as I see Hades's arm around her waist, pulling her to him. I glance at the little girl Imogen, she looked as if she was about to blow up. Seriously!?

HADES: "Right, here, Bobby, your boss lady want to have a word with you."

Hands Bobby his phone.

BOBBY: "Yes, ma'am, uh-huh right. No, she is right here with us. Uh-huh yeah. On it, boss, no worries. So then, Dr. Cronus & Sir Morningstar, you can take her with you. As for you, Imogen, aren't you going to take care of your situation?"

Imogen narrows her eyes in question as Bobby gestures behind her. The two young boys were somehow detained by the Club's bouncers. The boys were young yet physically built, the dark haired boy was shouting profanities in Italian. While the other boy was a redhead, kicking his legs in the air. A small crowd had gathered near them. Hades & I exchanged glances in question. As for Imogen she simply shrugs indifferently as if to say 'who cares, not my problem'.

The small group could hear the commotion being caused back there. Sonia was fidgeting slightly for some reason, Hades still had her in his grip. We look on as Imogen was still giving me seductive looks by batting her eyelashes. Ugh!

SONIA: "OK, I can talk to Derek since I had introduced him to you. But you must talk to Gabriel since he has a temper."

SANDRA: "No, you won't do such thing, this is Imogen's responsibility so she'll have to do it."

BOBBY: "She is right, baby doll, this is your night. The boss has given them permission to take you with them."

Sonia looks at me flustered I nod my head to confirm.

IMOGEN: "WHAT!? There is no way that wallflower...hey! How dare you let me go."

Bobby & the Sandra girl drag Imogen away who was still sputtering nonstop. I'm not sure why but that Sandra Jenkins reminds me of someone years ago. By then I had decided that Sonia rides with me as I escort her towards my white Lamborghini. I smile as she stares at it in awe.

SONIA: "No way, is this last year's latest model, one can only dream of buying one."

I chuckle using my keyring letting to unlock the car, of course I love cars I've got a collection of them at home. Both vintage & new.

LUCIFER:(Opening the car door, bowing)"M'lady, your ride awaits & I shall be your chauffeur tonight."

Once she gets inside with a smile I head towards the driving seat. Suddenly an engine's roar came near me, it was Hades on his bike.

HADES: "Listen, I've already booked both a restaurant & one of the penthouse for us tonight. I'm heading for the restaurant right now & I'll send you the location."

This is why I love him, even at times he won't show it but he does care. Tonight, he really wants to make this night special for us. Gunning the engine we head off with Hades sending me the location.

SONIA: "Wow, was that Dr. Cronus on a black Monster Harley? OMG! My brother Ryder would simply flip if I told him this, he is crazy about motorbikes especially a Harley. He had one of his own when he was 16. We both used to take turns riding it."

I couldn't help gape at her as she squeals, she hardly looks like the ones who would ride one. I assumed that she was into dolls & stuff. Instead I let her blabber a bit about her relationship with her older brother, Ryder. It wasn't boring but interesting, they were close, Ryder was 3 years older than her & naturally protective of her. He was into mechanic engineering. Sonia would cook or warm food for him when he would return late from his part-time jobs. Do their homework together, of course have siblings arguments. The same as me with my siblings besides Michael nowadays.

LUCIFER: "Sounds like a great guy your brother, where is he now if I may ask?"

Suddenly the atmosphere shifts a bit, I glance at her & my breath hitches. I notice tears at the corners of her beautiful eyes. Sh*t?! I quickly park the car off the road, turning off the engine. Quickly turn I grip her chin to make her face me.

LUCIFER: "What's the matter, love? Did I offend you or anything?"(I relax as she shakes her head, sniffles)"Then why the tears, I hate seeing a beautiful girl cry."

SONIA:(Wipes her eyes)"I'm sorry, don't know why I got emotional but you are right I do miss him. We've never been this apart for long not since our Mom died when I was 13. Our Dad was hardly ever there for he was kind of superficial. Actually about 5 years ago Ryder had this fatal accident after our highschool graduation night. Yet he was taken to the hospital on time, he had a spinal injury. He was deemed paralyzed from waist down. Most of the community who loved my Mom of course some of our relatives managed to fund enough money for his surgery. He managed to pull through but he wasn't the same. He would have gone into depression if Amy Martin hadn't stepped up. She was newly introduced as Nina's fiancee even though my Dad was completely against their relationship. Amy pulled some strings to get him into therapy & fitness recovery. He is walking now but with the support of a crutch & I know that he hates it. Right now he is in California studying law like our grandparents wanted. But, Lucifer I know that his love for bikes & cars hasn't died yet."
