Chapter 2-Our One

HADES'S P.O.V.

Tonight is the night, I can feel it in my bones & I know just the place to start. We have been discussing this for a couple of months about finding a third partner. It takes months even years to find that someone who is your soul mate, the one who completes you. I was admiring myself in the mirror then catch the glimpse of my soul mate, Lucifer Morningstar. I remember that in our younger days we were at each other's necks. Always competing against each other in academic, athletic & so on, in our university days. He was from a well off family before his family disowned him due to some misunderstanding. But with the help of a friend of his, he started from a scratch & made a life for himself. Then we were reunited after divorcing or losing our spouses & became one. Now we were ready after years of being together to add a third. I notice Lucifer's tense broad shoulders as he absent-mindedly buttons his blue shirt to hide his beautiful body. Sighing, stepped closer to him, I pull out his golden hair free. He turns to me smiling wistfully yet I could tell that he was anxious.

HADES:(Kisses his neck)"Hey, something on your mind, Lucifer?"

LUCIFER:(Sighs)"I don't know, Hades, just thinking. Are you sure that we are going do this?"

HADES: "You were the one who suggested this first on your birthday. Remember? To add a third person in our relationship? What's wrong?"

LUCIFER:(Runs his hand through his hair)"I don't know just feeling anxious about it. At first it seems like a good idea & on the other hand it doesn't. What if she doesn't accept both of us, I don't want to lose you."

HADES:(Pull him closer)"No way, nothing like that shall happen, I won't let it happen. You hear me? Besides this was your idea first."

LUCIFER: "I know its just that we've been through a lot to get here. I hope we find her & hopefully it works out."

HADES:(Raising an eyebrow)"Her again, huh!? So you are planning to add a girl as our third?"

LUCIFER:(Shrugs)"Yeah sure, why not? I mean think about it, it has been a quite a while since we have women in our lives. I'm not referring to my daughters, your sisters & Lea."

HADES: "Sure, I don't mind that thought, a woman's touch"(Kissing Lucifer as he pulls me close)"But if I sense any signs of negative vibes from her then she is out, got it?"

LUCIFER:(Chuckles)"Right, no matter how charming she may be!?"

I snort at that yet I can't wait to see who shall be our third partner will be.

Handing Lucifer his white jacket we head for the garage. As I was heading towards my Harley he grabs my arm.

LUCIFER: "By any chance once we find her could you please refrain from calling me 'Lucy'?"

HADES:(Smirking)"Not a chance, asshole."

He groaned in annoyance as he heads for his baby. What can I say getting his buttons pushed has become my hobby. We headed to this club which I've been acquainted to through my resaurant's catering service. The Dodgers, I've met the owner & her partner, good people. We were able to get there due to light traffic & the weather was nice. The Dodgers was kind of packed as we entered, with the loud music & bright lights. In one corner I see two underage kids making out. Jeez, in my opinion that ought to be banned or at least keep it PG. Must talk to the owner about this, I'm sure that she would approve. I could see people staring at us in awe, either in a s****l way etc. Meh, story of our life. Just as we get nearer to the bar, Lucifer suddenly stops. Before I could ask I notice the look on his face. Uh oh! I know that look, so I follow his line of vision & I see a few people. There was Nina the bartender, she is a lesbian, married to the club's owner, Amy Martin. I see this blonde floozy who was drunk, ugh, trying to look alluring. Then I see her, dang, she looks just like her. Lucifer's late wife, Delilah, although I never knew her but the girl looks like her. But much cuter!

HADES:(Whispers)"Holy f**k, Lucy, she looks like...!?"

He slowly nods his head, the girl's eyes catches mine which somehow makes me smile. I couldn't help chuckle seeing her face getting flustered. So as we went closer the girl walks past us quickly, as she brushes past me I could smell her perfume. Wow, cocoa butter & a hint of cherry blossom, wonderful combination. Before we could catch her she'd already walked out of the club. We made out of the crowd without any mishap, at the parking lot I spot her. Her petite figure was heading towards this old beat up red car. Are you kidding me? Before she could open her car door Lucifer caught her left hand in his. She gasps looking at us startled like a cute deer caught in a headlight. Now I was able to see her more clearly, she was not only petite but kinda short too. Her head hardly reaches our chest, her hair was of chocolate brown curls. So were her eyes which appeared to look like hazel due to the light. She was in a maroon colored dress, not too flashy yet quite sexy. Her face began to flush as I kept staring at her, how adorable! I wince as Lucifer, elbows me in the ribs, asshole.

LUCIFER: "Cut it out, Hades, you're making her uncomfortable."

HADES:(Smirking)"Aw, c'mon now, Lucy. I can't help it she's adorable. Just like one of Theo's cats which I adore."

I could hear him mumble 'unbelievable', well I did say that I wouldn't stop.

LUCIFER: "Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Lucifer Morningstar & this is Hades Cronus. What might your name be, love?"

I roll my eyes seeing him being a gentleman & all.

GIRL: "Oh, I'm Sonia Dean, pleased to meet you two, Mr. Morningstar."

LUCIFER:(Kisses her hand)"Ah, such a lovely name for a lovely girl. But please call me Lucifer. Mr. Morningstar happens to be my father."

SONIA:(Flushed)"Um, thank you, I guess."

Wow, her name is unique & cute, just like her, jeez, don't know why I'm being so mushy. I always found it irritating at first but with her it feels natural & comfortable.

Before we could continue I wince as this loud annoying squealing came out of nowhere. It was the blonde floozy teetering towards us. She bumps against me causing me to jump aside as Lucifer frowns. She stands next to Sonia batting her baby blues at us, seriously? She was about Sonia's height, long dark blonde hair with curves in the right places. Her appearance & demeanor rubs me the wrong way. Her dress was showing too much cleavage, her hair & makeup was all smudged. Like she had been having a quickie with someone. While Sonia, who kept looking at us awkwardly was clearly uncomfortable of her presence.

IMOGEN: "Hello there, handsome, my name is Imogen. This wallflower's best friend, I hope that she isn't boring you or anything. What say we go somewhere to be all cozy-like, catch my drift?"

She winks at us, as if I was going to fall for this. She was trying to intimidate Sonia for she wasn't saying anything. F**king hell, I was starting to get a headache what with the floozy's strong perfume & alcoholic fumes. Ugh! I decided to let Lucifer handle her for a bit.
