"Thank you" Allen said when Leah and Reilly finally left. Mira huffed and let go of his arm in frustration. She didn't get the desired reaction from him.
"Mphm! You only know to thank me now? So much for staying up all night to bring down your fever." She sat down where Leah was sitting earlier, facing Allen squarely.
"I was busy " Seeing his serious expression, Mira didn't know what to say immediately.
"Of course you were. Busy helping someone move in" Mira unconsciously poured her lips having said that. Allen's face twitched.
Kiss. Something whispered to him as he stared at those inviting lips.
"Leah is Maverick's sister" he shook off the tempting thought.
"Huh? That Maverick? And So? What does that have to do with her moving in here?" Mira accused defiantly.
