Allen/Mira The room was quiet, too quiet for Allen who loved quietness. He tossed over on the bed, missing the feel of Mira in his arms. He sat up, swung his leg over, and slipped his feet into his slippers. He was tempted to go to Mara’s room and join the mother and daughter in bed. Mira came back home about two hours ago and has been abnormally quiet. “Dad called, you went to him” “Yeah,” she avoided his stretched-out arms and made for the room. “Oh… okay. Dinner?” He followed her and stepped forward to slide the door. “Not hungry.” She walked in and placed her bag on the counter before removing her jewelry. “Mara slept off while waiting for you” Allen’s brows shifted, it was a subtle movement on his face, showing how stressed he was about Mira’s strange and distant attitude.
