CHAPTER EIGHTEEN Skink rocked back and forth, his arms wrapped around his legs as he watched all the bright lights of the vehicles from a nearby hill. How amusing it was, seeing them puzzling over the mystery he had left them! How serious their faces looked! He could not see them well now, but earlier he had crept close, before all the bright lights had arrived. There had only been two officers, a man and a woman.
