Riley rested her head against my chest and I wasn’t sure if it was a conscious action or the drugs that made her snuggle in. I pulled her closer, carefully lifting her up into my arms as I stood to take her back up to her room.
“Hang out here guys. Doc and I will be right back.” I said as I headed for the door. Wade opened it for me as Doc went to get his bag.
