Alessia’s POV
I raised my eyes and immediately caught Sebastian’s eyes.
He didn’t look happy.
“I think—”
“You don’t need to come to my office. Francis will handle it.” That was all he said and walked out before I could say another word.
“Okay. What the f**k just happened?” I shook my head in disbelief, taking another look at the flowers.
They were pretty flowers.
The rest of the day crawled by at a slow pace and the atmosphere around the office felt different.
I didn’t know if I was imagining things but ever since the flower bouquet from Daniel arrived, Sebastian seemed to have slipped into one of his terrible moods again.
I honestly didn’t understand him.
They were just flowers.
Flowers that had achieved exactly what he wanted.
