I didn’t sleep well that night.
I lay in my very comfortable new bed, staring at my very high new ceiling but sleep was still so far from me.
All I could think of was Daniel’s last words to me.
Somewhere around 2 am, I gave up on sleep entirely and just lay there in the dark, letting my thoughts take over.
