Kate burst into laughter the moment I finished telling her about Mr Kane’s strange behavior.
"So... Let me guess.” she began slowly. "Your billionaire boss tells you you'll do great one minute, then crushes your dreams the next?"
I pointed at her dramatically. “Oh my goodness! Are you a magician or something?! That’s exactly what happened.”
