As soon as his order left his lips, I smiled and nodded once, looking at the waiter.
“One Macallan, please,” I ordered politely before glancing toward Sebastian. “Would you like anything, Mr. Kane?”
“Nothing,” Sebastian answered shortly, his jaw still right in a frown.
“I’ll have sparkling water then,” I told the waiter with a smile and he nodded respectfully before leaving.
Daniel leaned a little closer.
“I have to admit,” he confessed quietly, “you make business meetings far more interesting.”
“I’ve been told I’m good company,” I replied with a light laugh.
“I believe it.” He nodded, smiling from ear to ear.
