Micheal king in a park?

"Madison James , it's so nice to finally meet the woman behind this amazing brand " I turned to look at Martinez. He was a well known designer, and I was very happy that I was praised by him. I looked around and I was happy at how far I had come .

My brand was successful. I had everything I dreamed of. I couldn't believe I had finally achieved all of this. It felt like I was dreaming.

"Maddie, Maddie?"

Wait a sec, I slowly opened my eyes and saw my mom staring at me. OK I guess I was dreaming it was too good to be true. Well, that goes my moment of happiness .

"Are you okay?" I looked at her and I honestly felt this urge to strangle her, but she was my mom, and I didn't want to go to jail yet. I was so happy in that dream. Why did she have to wake me up?

"I'm okay , what do you want this time"? I asked in an irritated tone.

"Why were you smiling like that?" she asked, and I was only getting more angry.

"It doesn't concern you mom, just tell me what you want and leave please" I said whilst getting up from my bed .

"Keep that tone down with me young lady , I am your mother."

I scoffed at that statement.

"Oh, I remember mother, but I think the one who has forgotten that fact is you" I said while staring at her right into her eyes. I had little respect for the woman standing in front of me right now. Ever since my dad abandoned us, she has really changed. She started drinking too much, and gambling too.

" I just wanted to tell you that I'll be away for a few days '

Pfft, no surprise there.

"OK, you told me you could leave now". She looked at me,with annoyance written all over her face , she turned and left the room.

I threw myself on the bed and just stared at my ceiling. I wish everything could change. I wish I could just leave home and go somewhere far and chase my dreams, but that would be impossible because first I had no money , I had nothing. Where would I begin? I could only dream and nothing more.

Today I wasn't working at the shop. It was my day off, but I had another side job. I walked dogs for rich old ladies. The pay wasn't much but it was something.

Today I had to walk Mrs Linda's dog, that grumpy old lady. I might just drown her little baby instead, jeez can't believe I just thought of that.

"Good morning Mrs Linda" I said with a very bright smile, hoping it would light up her heart .......

" There's no need to be so cheerful child"

Whoops guess my smile didn't work.

"Why are you always grumpy, Mrs Linda? Do you have a problem with the world?".

She gave me a look that could send me three feet under, and I took that as my queue to leave ...

"Goodbye Mrs Linda , I'll make sure to bring ur dog back home safely" I said while walking away with her dog.

"You had better. If not, I'll end you"

Wait what ,I turned back, and she closed her door slowly giving me a creepy smirk.............. OK, the truth be told that woman is literally a psychopath.

"Thought I found a way. "

"Thought I found a way out ,but you never go away, so I guess I have to stay now "

Billie. Her songs are the medicine to my depressed soul. I decided to sit on a bench in the park for a little while. I was sipping on lemonade watching happy people live happy lives , laughing, running, playing around. I remember how my dad always lifted me up and placed me on his shoulders , we would run around, and then we would buy ice cream................control yourself Maddie. Don't start crying now.

"Woof woof"

"Woof woof"

" What's wrong, sage? " I don't know what happened but suddenly, sage Mrs Linda's dog started barking uncontrollably. Maybe she saw a squirrel or something.

"Woof woof"

" Sage, what's wrong with you girl? Why are you barking ? Do you need something..............or are you possessed?"

Wait why did I just say that? I was trying to calm the dog down, and it was working, but then I started hearing sobs. A little boy was crying because his ice cream fell down

"Hey little buddy , don't cry, I'll get you a new one. OK"

"Woof woof"

I turned back to see why the dog was barking again and saw that she was already running and chasing something..

" Sage come back here "

"Woof woof "

" Sage, come back please , ohh Mrs Linda is going to kill me. Wake me up and then kill me again."

The dog kept running and barking. Oh God please, then the worst happened. I wasn't looking and then i bumped into something or should I say someone.

" Oh my God I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking, I'm trying to catch my dog ....and ....."

" Can't you see properly? " The person said in a harsh tone. I looked up to see who it was, and I was shocked. It was Micheal. I tried to hide my face, but it was too late.

" It's you again, that freak from the ice cream store."

Wait what?

" Excuse me , you didn't have to call me a freak Micheal king" I said, obviously annoyed.

" Oh, so you know my name now. Tell me, is it your thing to spill stuff on people now? "

I looked at him confused , and then I realized I had spilled my lemonade on him. I didn't even realize I was still holding it .

" What happened that day was a mistake, it was an accident. I didn't mean that either. I told you I was chasing my dog "...

" Yeah, yeah just shut up and get out of my face"

" You're so rude , it wouldn't hurt you to be nice" I said, crossing my arms.

" Yeah right , put it on a t-shirt" he said and walked away , this is not how I planned my day

" Woof woof "

I looked down and saw the dog right in front of me staring

" You put me in a lot of trouble, sage , I had to face the worst person on this planet .

" Woof woof"

What is he even doing in a park? a person with a dark heart shouldn't even be allowed into a park..

It was getting dark , so I had to take the dog back to the creepy owner. It was a ten-minute walk back to the lady's house. I just wanted to give her her dog and run away. I never want to face her again. She scares the s**t out of me. Life's already scary. I don't need another human being adding to my misery ....

I finally arrived at the witch's home. Fortunately, she was already outside her house ..

" Good evening Mrs Linda " no response. She just stared at me , I coughed awkwardly and continued .

" I brought your dog back just as I promised". I handed over sage to her and patiently stood there waiting for my pay. She reached for her pocket, took out a white envelope and gave it to me, I looked inside and smiled.

" Thank you so much" see you never again. I turned around and ran. Yes, yes, I ran so fast.
