The Count was pretending to be asleep when Bruno, Norma, and Lor came into the bedroom. He could hear them whispering to each other for a while but chose to ignore them.
The way he felt at the moment, he knew if they talked, he would just end up snapping at them. Partly it was because he had made it very clear what he wanted, and they had completely ignored him. He wanted to be pissed at them for being disloyal. This was hurt a bit by the fact that they were trying to do what they, and he assumed pretty much everyone else, saw as the right thing to do.
