Jennifer confidently flung the office door wide open, removing her sunglasses as she stepped inside. “Take a look for yourself; there’s no one outside. I just walked right in.”
Vanessa Tyler, recognizing Jennifer Sullivan by her voice, was taken aback. “It’s you? And dressed like this?”
Jennifer smiled as she approached Vanessa, glancing out the window with a chuckle. “If I hadn’t dressed like this, would I have been able to get into the company?”
“Security! Security! Get her out of here...” Vanessa’s call for help was interrupted as Frank Mitchell, the Vice President of VogueWorks, entered the office with the company’s legal counsel, followed closely by Quentin Tyler.
