Off I went down the wide open road with the top down, my hair to the wind, and the soothing sounds of the engine purring beneath me. It felt as sweet as milk to a suckling baby. The taste of freedom on the highway couldn’t have been more invigorating. Skipping out and finding adventure away from all my troubles seemed perfect for my ailment. In any event, I didn’t have the luxury of leaving for long. There were too many loose ends in my life. Sooner rather than later, I had to confront my imminent uncertainties.
