"Cassandra come on, we have to go!" My sister Bethany hollered up to me. My name is Cassandra. I'm 28 and I have an older sister named Bethany who is 34 and a little brother who just turned 10, His name is Thomas. I've lived in my own home for three years now. My brother and sister have always stayed with our grandfather, due to our parents dying in a plane crash, but that is until two days ago when he suddenly passed away. We are getting ready for his funeral that of course I had to set up. I mean don't get me wrong I loved my grandfather but I'm not even the oldest, my sister is. After I finished getting ready I hurried and ran down the steps to head out to the car so we could get going. Bethany is in a hurry to get there because today is also the day grandfather's will is going to be settled. Half time I only think my sister is only in it for the money. For myself though I run my own business. I started it right after I had graduated from college getting my business and my doctors degree. My company makes decent money. I help run the local hospital. I've always had a huge crush on a man named John. I've liked him since college. We both took up to become doctors. I personally went for sergeant as for him he just became a regular family doctor. But enough about that right now. We just arrived at the funeral home to grieve for my grandfather. There were a lot of people here, I hadn't noticed how many people knew my grandfather. As we walked up the side walk to the door, which obviously my sister is walking faster than my brother and I. She always liked to be the center of attention. As we were sitting in the office at the funeral home grandfather's attorney came in to read us his will. " Your grandfather does not wish to be buried. He would rather be cremated. His cremation ashes are to go to Cassandra. Now as for the financial affairs." He paused to get his paperwork out. My sister was sitting there practically on the edge of her seat when he mentioned the word financial. I can't believe she is more concerned about the money instead of our little brother. Before he could read anything I had asked him a question. "What about my brother? Where is he going to go? He is only 10 and he can't live by himself." " Well then we shall discuss this topic first." My sister got really agitated because she could care less about him. "OH Cassandra you can take him, it's alright as I'm busy these days to take care of him" My sister stated just to try and get the topic back on the money. I ended up rolling my eyes at her. "Are you sure that's what you want, Miss bethany?" The attorney looked at her with a stern gaze. "Yes of course, he's always liked her more than me anyways so she should just keep him. Now can we move on please?" Bethany said as though she is now bored. "I need you to sign this paper stating you do not wish to pertain in anything dealing with your brother Thomas. And Miss Cassandra I will need you to fill out these forms if you will please." The attorney stated while handing over the paper. My sister signed it pretty quickly without even reading the document. After she had signed her paper she handed me the pen so I could fill out the forms to take full non-negotiable custody of Thomas. In the form it states the only way I can be relinquished from custody is by death or he turns of age to care for himself, making this a secure deal. "Now as the papers have been filled I will kow get back to the will that was left from your grandfather." He took a deep breath before continuing. "The one who undoubtedly takes custody of Thomas will receive all of my assets and my company. And if anyone refuses to even help take care of Thomas gets nothing." My sister's face started to turn red in anger. "Is this some sick joke!" She screamed
