“Cause the cops are here.” I looked at him. I pushed him off me. We both moved to the door. He threw me back. I moved to the door as fast as I could before he was on top of me. He flipped me over. Grabbing my hands so that I couldn’t fight him off. The two guys ran in.
He looked at me. “This is over Nora.” He looked up to the guys, "Get her down to the basement. And cover her month up." He then stood up. I laid on the ground for a second longer then moved as fast as I stop. I stood up and ran to the door.
“HELP... HELP... HELP...”
He looked at me in anger and then the last thing I saw was the white walling growing bigger as I fell to the ground.
Once I woke in the basement. Many questions ran though my mind.
I screamed for my life that I knew was going to end real soon. Everyone that came running into the room moved out of Louise way as him and the two guys looked me and walked out. Just as my back was turned to the room someone whispered in my ear.
“They heard you don't worry.”
Louise looked at me one more time then slapped me across the face. When Louise walked out of the room I was taped up and couldn’t move that well. Two guys sited looking at me.
“You know, if I were Louise, I would have killed her that first night that she tried getting out. And then I would have dumped her body into the lake that has no end.”
“Well, you know, if I was him I would go somewhere, where it just her and me.”
I didn't want to listen to the minds that they both had. So I listen to what was going on up stairs.
The cops want to look around the house. And Louise let them. I could hear them asking about the basement and well, he lied to them saying that it was locked and they haven't seen the key in year. They asked him if you could get in from the outside. He lied again and said that he tried more time then he could tell. I tried to get the tape off my mouth and when I did, I yelled and the two guys jumped. I heard one cop ask what the sound was. Oh that's just my son and his girlfriend they are up stair playing some game.
“Oh,” the cops said. “Well we will be going now.”
I yelled again and this time I got the rope off me. I ran up the stairs opening the door, to feel Louise hands around my neck.
“I told you guys to shut her up.” He walked me back down the stairs. “Now hold her still.”
He walked over into the dark. And when he returned into the light holding a rag, I tried to get out of the grab but they grabbed harder.
“How much is that?”
“Oh I'd say about five days of sleeping.”
I looked at him and began fighting. “What, no...No please don't.”
He looked at me softly. “Boys please leave.”
“Nora please do you know what could of happen if these cops would of found you.” he walked up to me slowly. Did he think I was stupid or something?
“I would have been found, I could have gone back to my family.” I said added to it. “That’s what would have happened.”
I looked at him and turned my head a little.
“Well, they would umm, they would try to take you from me, and our love is just get stronger.” He moved he hand down and around my back.
I smiled. “No your love not mine.” I moved away from his touch.
“That's not true you know that our love is something that the both us can't say the words too.”
“What are you talking about?”
“You really don't remember what happen on the day you do?”
“No I don't know what you are even talking about. What do you mean by half the things you’re saying?”
He walked behind me. Putting his hands on my shoulders. “Look I’m sorry.”
“About?”
“This.”
The rag was over my month. I tried fighting him off but he had his arm around me holding me back. I fought as much as I could but I started to get dizzy. I closed my eyes one more time and opened them about five or so minute after that. Or as I thought I did.
“You know,-” I jumped at the sound.
“Sorry, I should of let you know I was here.”
“It's okay.”
“Okay, but the reason why I’m up here is to tell you that you need to eat something.”
Food was the last thing on my mind and I didn't want to eat.
“I don’t want food. And if it from them then I know I won’t eat it.”
I looked up to see him but he was in the shadows.
“I have food from the store, food that hasn’t been open.”
At his word I know I could trust him. But I didn’t what to eat.
“I don't want to eat. How long have I been out?”
“Well do you want the days or weeks?”
“I mean since Louise knotted me out.”
“Oh well, I'd say about four days.”
“Who are you?”
“I can't tell you that.”
“Why not?”
“Because I was told not to tell you anything.”
“By? Wait don't answer that. But answer this.” I waited for him to say something.
“Okay and what is that?”
“How old are you?”
Minutes past and he didn't say a word.
“I guess you can't answer that.”
“No. No I can answer that one but it's umm.”
“But what?”
“Out of all the questions I thought you were going to ask that wasn't one of them.”
“Okay then. So how old are you?”
“I'm going to be eighteen in about two mouths. How are you?”
“I will be seventeen in May. What mouth is it?”
“It’s December.” I've been in this room for almost two months.
“Where am I?”
“I can't tell you that.”
“So could you repeat that? can you tell me?”
“I can't really tell you a lot about this.”
“This?”
“What I'm going to tell you is really going to help you get out of here.”
“Really?”
“Yes.”
The door kicked open, and Louise stood in the doorway. He walked over and unlocked me from the bed.
