Walking out of the school I feel my phone vibrate. Looking at it, it's a text from Rider.
'5 cars back my love.'
Looking up I see Riders' car in line behind a Mercedes. It was funny seeing his classic mixed in with all those newer cars. Rider gets out of his car and leans on the hood as I walk up. He leans down and plants a kiss on my forehead before lifting my chin to kiss my lips.
I give him a pouty face. Confusion washes over his face, "What's wrong beautiful?"
"You kissed my forehead before my lips."
"Oh. I'm sorry. Here." He lifts my chin a bit higher and leans down to touch his gorgeously shaped lips to my dry cracked lips.
"Mmmmmm." I moan against his lips as he wraps his arms around my waist lifting me up.
Breaking away before things got out of hand, Rider put me back on my feet and let go of my waist. "What's the matter?"
Looking up at him with an apology in my eyes I simply say, "We needed to stop before things went to far. We are in the pick up line at my school. Some of the parents are giving us dirty looks." I glanced behind Rider at the mom sitting in the car behind his. She did not look happy to see 2 teens making out in front of her.
Rider looked back and just laughed. Turning back he said, "If I want to kiss my girlfriend, I'll kiss her how I want." He leaned down again planting his lips on mine. But it wasn't just a quick peak, no this kiss had passion and longing to it.
Almost falling to my knees because they were getting weak, I pulled away again trying to catch my breath. "Wow! What was that?" Bracing myself against his chest as I calmed my breathing.
"Like I said. I will kiss my girlfriend how I want, when I want." Rider wrapped his arms around me laying his head on mine.
"I know." I giggled. "Can we go now?"
"Yes. Where to, my love?"
"I do have to work. So my house and then you can take me."
Taking off Rider makes his way to Maine Street. Stopping for a red light, Rider grabs my hand and kisses it. Sending shivers down my spin, I giggle and blush.
"What is so funny?"
"Nothing." I blush harder and turn my head.
"Babe, don't turn away from me." Dropping my hand, Rider gently grabbed my chin turning me towards him. "You look too cute with bright red cheeks. You know that."
"I do not." Feeling my cheeks get even warmer.
Leaning over, before the light turns green, Rider kisses me gently, dropping the subject. After a few minutes we are turning into my driveway. It looked like no one was home.
"You can come in. It looks like no one is home." Grabbing my bag, I get out of the car and make my way to the back door. Rider is behind me, waiting patiently for me to dig my house key out.
. . . . . . .
Digging through the clothes on the chair in my room, I find my work shirt. "I get off work at 10. You'll be there right?" I turn to look at Rider as I slip my shirt on.
"Yes, baby I'll be there." Getting up, he closes the small space between, and pulls me in closer to him.
"Good. I'd hate to have to call someone else." I gave him a sly grin.
"You wouldn't dare." Rider came back with a mocking tone.
"Oh. I so would. Hehe. If you're not there by 10:01, I'm calling Tamara." I giggled at him.
"I'll be there." He took on a more serious tone this time.
"Ok. But we have to go or I'm going to be late." I slip from Riders' arms and head down stairs.
Turning into the parking lot of Penny's, a little run down truck stop, I have 5 minutes before my shift. We park and Rider turns the car off only enough to stop the engine. With the music playing in the background, we sit and stare at each other. Occasionally we would take turns biting our lips from the s****l tension surging through us. Breaking my gaze from his, I look to see I have just 1 minute before I have to be in those doors.
"Oh, no. I'm gunna be late again." I lean over and kiss Rider goodbye and try my best to scramble out of Rider's car. "Bye. I'll see you at 10." And I closed the door.
Work was slow, but then again it was always slow. We had our regulars, a few newbies, and our not so quit often regulars.
By the time 10 o'clock came around I was so ready to get home. Claudet and I counted our tips together. Both coming out with a total of $50+. We make that or more on a good night, even slower days we're lucky to make it out with $10.
Waiting for Claudet to lock the doors, I see Riders' car. Aside from Riders' and Claudets', there shouldn't be any other cars. But there was. In one of the parking spots furthest from the door sat a car. It had blacked out windows so you couldn't see in.
"Claudet. Let me walk you to your car." She had parked around the side, to leave more parking spots for customers.
She became aware of the car and agreed. I waved to Rider letting him know I would be right there and walked Claudet to her car. Claudet drove off as I walked back to Rider.
"What was that about?" Rider asked as I got in the car.
"You see that car over there." I pointed but didn't turn. Rider looked over and then back. "No one ever stays this late. Plus the car doesn't look familiar or well what I could see of it. So I walked Claudet to her car, just to make sure she was safe. That's all."
"Look at you. Being a good person." Rider leaned over giving me a kiss on the cheek.
"Oh hush." I knew I was blushing but Rider didn't.
