Beaches

We arrived at the beach house in the late afternoon. Lilly was already there since she lives and goes to school near here. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you Lilly switched schools. Anyway, Mads, Max, Mark and I all go to our rooms. We each have our own rooms. No couples are roomed up together. That would be a bit unfair to Mads. But, any way it goes, on the main floor is Mads and Lilly and upstairs, on the second floor is Max and Mark and on the top floor there is me. My room is kind of like the attic of the house, but its better because it has a huge window that pretty much takes up a whole wall. Each room has a queen-sized bed in it, but my bedding is turquoise. This is my house. My parents bought it for me last year as a birthday present since I love the beach so much. That is also why I have the top floor room, but don't worry, I didn't assign rooms. I didn't purposefully put the other girls on the main floor and the boys on the second floor, it was just how they picked it. On the main floor there is also a game room which I am sure the boys will gladly take advantage of.
Anyway, after every one is settled in I order some pizza and bread sticks and suggested that we all watch some movies after a long day of traveling. Every one agrees, every one picks out a movie and we start with Mad's movie. We all get settled in Mads is on the lazy boy with a fuzzy purple blanket. Max sat on the love seat and I sat next to him sharing a soft dark blue blanket. While Mark and Lilly share a soft gray blanket on the couch. The movie starts and, of course, Mads picks a romantic chick flick, The Notebook. Great way to start off the night. When the pizza gets there, Mads gets up to get it. We ate the pizza and we finished eating as soon as the movie was over. We decided to watch Lilly's movie next, which was Insidious, a scary movie. What is wrong with her I have no idea. I tried to cuddle up to Max and he put his arm across the back of the couch instead of around me. It annoys me just a bit. I look over at Mark and Lilly and they are cuddling. Lilly has her head on Marks' chest and Mark is resting his head against the couch with his arm wrapped around Lilly's shoulders. Mark looks at me and smirks. What is he smirking at? I mouthed the words what? He uses his other hand to tap his head. I go and look in his mind.
'You are jealous'
'Of what? What do I have to be jealous of?'
'You wish that you had someone to cuddle with'
'I have Max to cuddle with'. I looked at the TV so no one would get suspicious of me staring at Mark. He did the same.
'Oh, it really doesn't look like he is doing much cuddling right now.' He was smirking again. He is so annoying. 'I could have been cuddling you'
I looked at him confused and he just stared at the TV and closed his mind to me. I don't think I was supposed to hear that last part. We continued to watch the movie and I cuddled up to Max. He finally put his arm around me kind of. Mads went off to her room and so did Lilly. Shortly after, Mark went to his room and me and Max went to our rooms saying our good night and he gave me a light peck on the cheek. I went up the stairs to my room, leaving the door to the stairs open. When I entered my room, I went over to the walk-in closet and took my clothes off and threw them in the hamper. I went to go leave my closet in my bra and underwear to go lay in bed and sleep, but someone was sitting on my bed.
"Mark what are you doing!" I whisper yelled. Trying to cover myself. I was standing in the middle of my room. He took his shirt off and threw it at me while chuckling. I put it on and it hit mid thigh.
"I came to talk to you about what you heard earlier," he got kind of serious.
"Yeah, what was that about? That you could have been cuddling me?" I walked over and looked at him. He stands up and faces me. I noticed he looked really good without a shirt. He was toned no six pack but a few crunches and he would have one.
"Well, I mean if you chose to be with me first instead of Max, I could have been cuddling you and not him." He rubs the back of his head as he says this.
"Well, I don't have a lot to say on the matter. Lilly was talking to Mads about you and Max. It was just kind of a last second thing but I said I thought that Max was kind of cute and she told me, then you can date him and I will date Mark. So, yeah, I mean when I first met you, you barely looked at me. You seemed... Less attainable and less into me, so I said Max's name instead of yours." I said, and looked down. He just laughed at this. "What is so funny?"
"She really said that?"
"Yes"
"Wow. I mean, I know me and Max have been wanting her attention for a while, but she barely gave Max the time of day anyway. Not after his brother tried going out with her sister." hmm that is weird.
"Well, I am tired. Could we talk more about this tomorrow?"
"Yeah sure keep the shirt" he said and walked out.
