PROTAGONIST

Francisco Marco Imperial grow up in a simple family in the town of Del Carmen in South Luzon.  He is the eldest among two children. His younger sister went to the convent to serve God. Francis mother is a typical wife who runs the house all the time and went to Church every Sunday. While his father is the father of the whole town of Del Carmen. The Imperial’s serve their town for a decade now – from his great grandfather up to his father.   

 As a young Francis, he is smart. He is known for being a friendly kid. He is just like his father, compassionate and fair. The blood of being a leader is obvious in his persona.

When he became a teenager, many girls swoon not only for his handsome face but to his intelligence and charisma. That even the Tesoro princess was bewitched by him. But being simple and lowkey from the eyes of other people in the city, he was being shamed and degraded.

Francis is now the mayor of their town. He is continuing the lineage of his father to serve the people of Del Carmen. It took him years to finally have the position. He is now 28 years old, single and a certified playboy. He is good when it comes to work. But very bad when it comes to his enemy. Because gone with the old Francis, his authority overflows that no one dare to oppose. That even if he is compassionate to his people, the rage in his eyes is evident every time he looks to his assistant, Marie Cristelle Tesoro.

Marie Cristelle Tesoro lived a lavish life in the city with her grandparents. Literally, she is eating with her golden fork and spoon. But far from being a typical brat, Maricris is a soft-hearted person. She was raised as an obedient granddaughter. What her grandparents say, she’ll follow. Because she believes that it is the right thing to do.

On her second year in college, she meets the first man she falls in love with, Francis. And for the first time in her life, she disobeyed her grandpa.
