When the officiant pronounced us “Husband and Wife”, Jordan picked me up and held me above him. I leaned down and kissed him. He spun us around once before placing my feet back on the ground and we practically skipped down the aisle.
We spent the next hour taking photos while the venue transformed the room for the reception. Our guests had free reign of the property which was beautiful. There were drinks and hors d’oeuvres being passed around outside while a string quartet played music.
Before we knew it, it was time for the party to start. The DJ announced us and we marched in to loud cheers and applause. It was a bit surreal. Jordan had never had a real wedding but I had.
