As Audrey watched, he went to the highboy and opened the top drawer. It contained several carefully folded T-shirts and several scarves, and nothing else. “This feels wrong,” Audrey said, although she remained where she was by the doorway and didn’t make any attempt to come closer. “I know,” he replied. “But Jill gave us permission.” And it’s not as though Susan is around to stop us….
