 By the time Sutaura is done with her rendition, both her and Acera lie on the thin, slab beds which slide out from the wall. Sutaura takes the top one, where she was lying when Acera entered earlier. Acera stares up at the slab above oos and starts to feel the effects of fatigue creeping in. “You were the one who did that to Brondo?” Acera yawns. “The one and only,” she smirks and tries to get comfortable for the night. “And what about Uncle Earl,” Acera asks wanting to know more, “did he die that day?” “The little remains of him and his entourage, were swept up by a road cleanup crew and incinerated,” she rolls her eyes. “Then Cantil could safely tell anyone that Uncle never made it to Perfunctory.” There is an elongated silence and Acera wonders whether Sutaura has fallen asleep, b
