"That's impossible!" I slammed my fist on the table, making it shudder. "How can Adelaide be Gael's mate? Tell me the truth, now!" My face twisted in a furious scowl as the table creaked ominously and then splintered into two pieces beneath my hands.
"Why did you look so angry?" the Moon Goddess asked. "I thought you didn't want her, so you shouldn't have a problem with her being Alpha Gael's mate and I'm not lying, so control yourself right now before you lose control."
