I was panting heavily when my eyes suddenly flew open, sweat covering my entire body. "Oh my goodness! What just happened?" I mumbled in shock as I realized I was in the pack house, lying in bed, and it felt like I had been asleep for a long time.
"Oh s**t!" I heard Alpha Gael whisper beside me. I quickly turned to him; he was just waking up as well. When I felt my hand resting on his palm, I instinctively pulled it away.
