As soon as I heard Alpha Gael roar, I quickly pushed Cyrus away from me, causing him to stagger back a bit.
I forcefully broke the kiss with a loud pout and glared at Cyrus with the most furious expression I could muster.
Like what the hell is happening today? I'm on the verge of losing my mind!
I don’t understand why Alpha Gael is so angry, especially when he seems to be daydreaming that I’m his mate. The truth is, I don’t feel any mate bond at all. In a book about werewolves that I read, it clearly stated that a human can never be a werewolf's mate; it’s simply not possible and can be dangerous if it actually happens. It didn’t specify what would happen if a human were mated to a werewolf, but I can’t help but feel that it wouldn’t end well.
