Noah was mad at Elena, and he kept on kicking her.
Elena never believed Noah would ever try to harm her.
A bitter taste filled her mouth as she was overwhelmed by a feeling of helplessness.
“I will destroy you if you dare try to harm Lisa and my child.” He yelled at her in anger.
Lisa smirked as she watched as Elena got beaten by Noah. Fake tears came out of her eyes.
Their housekeeper was watching all that was happening, she could not keep watching Noah harm Elena.
“Please sir, stop kicking her.” Their housekeeper tried to protect Elena from Noah's torture.
She was scared but still tried to protect Elena from Noah.
Elena has been so good to her, she tried her best to help her even at the risk of her job.
“Throw her out of here, I don't want to ever see you around Lisa and my unborn child.” He yelled at the housekeeper to take her out.
Noah was holding up Lisa and checking up on her if she was hurt. Lisa was pretending Elena hurt her.
Whereas she was calculating and fell down on her own impulse.
The housekeeper helped Elena up, she limped from the pain of being kicked. Her body hurts her so bad.
She carried her suitcase and helped Elena out of the house.
She boarded a cab, and the housekeeper helped her pack her suitcase in the cab.
“I'm so sorry I can't help you much, I hope you treat yourself and stay far away from Mr Noah.” She looked worried and pitied Elena.
“Thank you, Mrs Susan, I'm going to be fine.” She tried to smile, biting her lips from the pain she was feeling from her lower abdomen.
Mrs Susan waved at her as she left in the cab.
Elena scrunched in pain as all her body aches from the kicks.
The driver looked at her in pity wondering who hurt such a beautiful woman.
She stopped at Ivy's apartment and paid the cab man his money. The driver watched her struggle to get down.
She dragged her suitcase as she walked into Ivy's apartment, limping in pain as she walked.
She checked the time on her phone. It was 11:30 pm. She knocked on Ivy's door knowing she was a deep sleeper.
Ivy came to open the door as she rubbed her sleepy eyes.
She was surprised to see blood dripping out of Elena's mouth.
Elena just hugged Ivy tightly, tears streaming down her face as she held her in her arms, despite feeling pain like needles gnawing at her body.
Ivy pulled her inside and dragged her suitcase inside the two-bedroom apartment she rented.
“Did he do this to you?” Ivy said with pain in her voice anger laced in her voice.
Elena explained all that transpired from the office to their apartment. She cried for a long time in Ivy's arms.
I told you before not to marry him, he's just a self-centered man and he doesn't even care about you.” Ivy said in a rage.
“I loved him, I thought he was going to change as time went on, I never expected him to scorn me so much with his female secretary.” A bitter taste filled her mouth as she narrated bitterly.
Ivy assured her by speaking sweet words to her. “Just know I love you so much and I care about you.”
Elena laid on her bed as Ivy applied an ointment on her bruised ribs where Noah kicked her. She cleaned the injury on her lips.
“Ouch it hurts, take it easy.” Elena hissed in pain.
“Sorry boo, he's such a scum for doing this to you. I need to go and beat him up.” Ivy declared as she waved the mop closest to her.
“You want to get killed with a mop?” Elena laughed out loud till her stomach hurt.
“That's ok you need to sleep right now, I don't want you to get sacked from waking up late,” Elena said.
‘’Ok boo boo I've heard you, don't forget your appointment tomorrow at the hospital. You need a full checkup to see whether your bones are not broken.’’ Ivy checked up on her as Elena's situation weighed heavily on her mind.
“He's a mad man for doing this to you, this is domestic violence.” Anger was laced in Ivy's voice.
She wishes she had the power to destroy Noah for the pain he caused Elena.
They both slept and woke up the next day by Ivy alarm which she set every morning by 6 am.
Elena was still fast asleep from being too tired. While Ivy dressed up to go to work.
She left a note for Elena about her breakfast and her appointment at the hospital.
Elena got up, and rushed to the bathroom. She woke up around 12 pm. Her body still hurts all over.
While her appointment is at 1pm, she warmed the breakfast Ivy left for her and dashed out of the door.
She was able to meet up with the doctor. A full scan was run on her body. There was not much damage to her body from the X-ray result.
The doctor administered some drugs for her and she paid the fee.
Just as she was waiting for her payment to finalize, she saw her two worst nightmares coming out from the ward at the hospital.
She tried to avoid them, but Lisa sighted her. She whispered something to Noah and they approached her.
“I can see you are here trying to monitor Lisa, I'm done with you already stop bothering us.” Noah was furious as he spoke.
Elena rolled her eyes and laughed at them. Still wondering how she fell in love with somebody like him.
“I'm having his baby soon, stop following us around. Don't think you can ever hurt my child.” Lisa rubbed her belly and was behaving like a white lotus.
“Like I care about you.” She rolled he
r eyes and tried walking away from the two.
“I'm not done with you.” Noah gripped her wrist forcefully.
