I looked at my reflection in the mirror and gave myself a satisfactory nod. I will not show any weakness in front of the world.
“Julie! Are we on the right track?” I asked her, and she gave me a sad look.
“No one has ever defended me like this, and just when we had learned to harden our hearts like stone, these crazy maniacs entered my life just to mess everything up. I don’t know how I should deal with them,” I confessed in front of her, because she was the only person who knew the bitter truth and dark parts of our lives.
“I don’t know Sera, but I think we should betray them, or they will never be able to forgive us. What if they caught us to punish us?” Her fear made me hesitate for a moment, but then I shook my head in no.
