Kenner turned to Law pointing at the sketch pad he held, asking “So if this is the place where Eos’s wings are, where the hell would they be? I mean, I’m sure if Tanner saw them, he would have said something.”
“Why would he? It isn’t like he would know anything about them, he’s human. Besides, it isn’t like the wings are as big as a human.” Emry said.
Kenner turned to Emry, “What do you mean? Are they wings like a pixie’s?”
Smiling, Emry shook his head, “No, Kenner. They are the size of a brooch at the moment. When Eos’s wings were removed, they became smaller than the palm of a hand.”
Dustin sat back in his chair, muttering, “Son of a b***h, that means were looking for a needle in a stack of needles.”
Emry nodded once again, saying, “That about sums it up, yes.”
