Chapter 17
Kenner had just gotten to Tanner’s place and had been looking around with Winter and Dustin inside the house when an unbelievable sadness hit him. He immediately knew it was coming from his mate, and Como’s need for him to be near was almost overwhelming. It didn’t take him two seconds to get out the door, shouting he had to get to his mate.
Kenner hadn’t even bothered to take his car. Instead he shifted and allowed his harpy eagle to get him to the station faster than any car could.
Holding Como, Kenner felt relief immediately coming from them both.
Hearing Cadmael’s warning, Kenner couldn’t let it go. “Just know this, if you attempt to do anything to my mate, I will kill you where you sit.”
“Trust me when I say, I would no more harm Como than I would my grandsons.” Cadmae
