Chapter 9
Kenner had searched for Como a long time before he realized how late it was and was forced to return to Tanner’s ranch. He told Tanner he would be returning once he got the prisoner settled in a cell.
Getting John Doe processed had taken longer than Kenner would have liked. However, he
dreaded the call he had to make even more. Telling his friends he and Como would be missing the wedding wasn’t something he was excited to do. Kenner had looked forward to watching Sky, Hardy, and Emry say their vows, but finding and talking to his mate was far more important to him.
Grabbing his cell, Kenner placed the call. It only rang once before Rey picked up. “Hey Kenner, we’re running a bit behind. We were forced to move everything back inside——”
