Emma's eyes widened in shock. For a moment, we all froze in our surprise. I was surprised too, perhaps more than they, if I'm being honest.
Emma reacted quickly. She got over her shock and aimed a blow at my heart with the knife she was still clutching, but that was a big mistake.
