Derek's POV
“DNA test?” I asked with furrowed brows.
“Yes.” Luna Queen Evelyn said bluntly with her face registering no emotions at all. “A DNA test would be in order.”
I really didn't like the way this sounded. For some reason I wasn't comfortable with this. I knew my father had already confirmed that Layla was his daughter but to me carrying out a DNA test felt like the last straw it'll take to break my back.
“Is that really necessary?” I asked. “I mean we already know that Layla, princess Layla is father's daughter. Why should we even bother with a DNA test?”
