Layla's POV
“What? Derek? Are you okay?” I asked uncertainly, not knowing whether I should reach out and touch him or not.
He was suddenly crouched over with both hands on his head. What was happening to him?!
“Father…” He muttered almost to himself.
“Your father? What about him?” I asked with growing unease. “Derek? Hope everything's okay…”
“My father.. I need to get to my father.” He kept muttering under his breath with his eyes shut now.
I admit I was becoming more and more scared and he wasn't doing anything to help the matter. It was quite alarming to think that something could happen to the Alpha King himself!
Just as suddenly as he had crouched over in pain, he returned to his height with his eyes blazing with energy I had never seen before.
“What just happened?”
